So sorry to be without updates for the last week, but rest assured we had the most amazing time.
As a group we grew so close together all while learning about the incredible wildlife and scenery of Africa. The whole time doing our part to give back to the communities and reserves we visited.
Pictures always say it better than words so I have plenty here for you all!
Our first day we arrived at the new game reserve settled into our huts and then went out for a game drive and game walk.
On our second day we got straight into our work removing a fallen tree from the gamepark path and clearing out alien invasive plant species. Then that afternoon we went to visit the amazing Cheetah project.
On our third day we continued with our work removing alien plant species around the gamepark and then went to the incredible Elephant interaction.
Our Fourth day we went to visit Zulu Croc and reptile centre to learn about the Snakes and Reptiles of South Africa. That afternoon we travelled to the beautiful Hluhluwe-Imfolozi gamepark to look for the Big 5 animals (Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalo, Lions and Leopards).
On our final day at the Gamepark we went out to Somhkanda Gam eReserve to learn all about Rhino conservation and track the Rhinos using GPS tracking on foot.
It has been such an amazing week that I couldn’t have asked to spend with a better group of people!
