Hello Family and friends! So we are now back in St Lucia so I am finally back on the internet! Firstky, here are some photos for you from the First two days. They go with what I have written so far.
Group A – Dan, Jemma, Jessa, Lexie, Kimberly, Grace and Caitlin.
Next we headed into the sand forest and started learning about the trees and their traditional Zulu medicinal values. Fortunately no-one was brave enough to try them!
We also came across some small (or not so small) insects…
The groups then swapped over and here Group B were off walking in the tall grasses! Don’t worry, we didn’t come across any venemous snakes, just a lot of animal dung!
Group B – Bill, Danni, Peixi, Jess, Georgia, Katie and Mark (once he arrived!)
On Day two we did some buffalo tracking and some boma clearing. The boma clearing was extremely hard work!
Next Group A headed to the boma! It was really hot, humid and hard work, but…
Jemma, Jessa and Kimberley seemed to be working a bit harder!
Next post is Wednesday’s update!
