About the program
Reach Out Volunteers live and work in the beautiful village of Ponto D’Oro, a place of outstanding natural beauty just over the border with South Africa.
Despite its stunning mountains, sub-tropical forests, lush valleys and the blue Indian Ocean, it is also a place of great poverty.During your stay you will be able to immerse yourself in the rich local culture and traditions.
Past volunteers have been working to refurbish classrooms and supplying resources to the Village School; providing sanitation and toilet facilities and equipping school buildings with basic facilities such as desks, chairs and chalkboards.
