way to kick arse team!

The last 2 days have been polar opposites. Yesterday the heat was exhausting, today it was raining but nice and cool. Yesterday; the work slowed to a crawl, today; the place has shot up despite it raining in the morning. Yesterday; people being tired and lacking energy, today; laughter and goofing around plenty.

Despite this the shining star that was yesterday was the fact it was Tiegan’s Birthday, and we had a blast (we even found cake!!). so happy birthday Tiegan.

Yesterday we had to fix the foundations down which took an age to just do a single line. And in the evening, we headed into town to try and let our hair down. This, worked to some effect although most of the town was dead in the evening.

Today was a different story, the rain bought some much needed cool air and everyone’s spirits were lifted. We decided to cook lunch ourselves and this involved making beer bread and cooking fresh fish, along with heading to the markets to get vegetables from the local community.

We started to build up the foundations much quicker, and now we are ready to fill the floor for the clinic tomorrow after they enjoy the dolphin dive. Now in the evening our Portuguese teacher expanded our vocabulary and he also wouldn’t let me sneak away to do this very blog (quite rightly too).

I am super proud of the entire team today, they pulled together to make up for lost time and totally kicked arse.
