Arrival at the Elephant Sanctuary

Sue Sdey (Hello),
Welcome to the elephant blog. My name is Damdin. I am a team leader at the elephant sanctuary this week. I graduated at university with community developing and project manager. I’ve been working with ROV as a team leading almost one year now. But i used to work with ROV almost three years as a volunteer with my community. I have done lots of project as houses building, classrooms, building gardens for vegetable fence at the school and others.
I am currently building a house for students who live so far from the school and they asked a principle to live in chicken coop as that was all that was available to them.
To all my volunteer’s parents, please feel free to comment on my blog about what we have done a day by a day. I am so happy to get any comments from you all. There is no meat, shopping or internet accessing here. So all our volunteers can not talk and update any new thing here. If you have any questions please leave me your comments on the comments page. I am happy to answer you.
After we had the last breakfast at our hotel and then we took around two hours by to the Elephant Sanctuary. It was good foods with all vegetarian foods at the sanctuary. It was relaxing for the first day when we arrived there and we had an orientation from a staff there (Stan). And then at 3 pm we prepare foods for elephants (Kamlin and Arun Rai). We cut banana tree, sugarcane, pumpkins and water melons for them. We are so exited!!!
In the evening after we had a dinner and they had a film about ROV have done and help with local community here. It is so amazing with what we have done so far.

We can not stay late in here because power is limited in here. So we have to go to bad early.
Time to say Rea Trie Sue Sdey (Good night)
