We rolled into Siem Reap today a little sleepy after the bus ride from the elephant sanctuary, but happy to be back in the bustling city. We spent most of the day organizing suitcases and taking a much needed hot shower. In the afternoon we went for some last minute shopping, followed by foot massages and facials! For dinner, we went to a nice restaurant where we ordered some western favourites and reminisced about the last two weeks and all the fun we’ve had together. We are all going to be so sad to leave eachother tomorrow! But of course, we’re so thankful for the new friendships we’ve made.
I want to say thank you to all those parents and friends who have followed the blogs (and especially those that commented along the way!). I hope you have enjoyed reading the blog as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you.
If you would like to continue to support the projects that Reach Out Volunteers runs, we would greatly appreciate any contribution to the Reach Out Volunteers Charity. 100% of all donations go to on-ground projects to continue to support these communities when volunteers aren’t around.
