Boats, buses, and tuk tuks

Hi all! Today was a big transport day for all the volunteers! The boat left the island this morning at 8 am and luckily it wasn’t as choppy as the ride here!

In Sianoukville we all grabbed lunch at Holy Cow then jumped on the bus to Phnom Penh. This was a very long bus ride but almost everyone passed out the entire drive. We got into Phnom Penh just in time for dinner.

After dinner, some people went to the markets, some to bed, and some went out to a Ladyboy show. It was a very fun last night all together.

Tomorrow we have a few people heading to Siem Reap to extend to the village and elephant program, and the rest are heading home!

It’s going to be a very emotional goodbye. This group has become very close these past two weeks. We’ve created some lasting friendships here in Cambodia, all the while working our bums off to make a difference. I wouldn’t change a thing 🙂
