Wednesday started with our second reef pod deployment. The open water group went out to perfect millpond waters. Kylie, our instructor, tossed the pods into the sea and us volunteers followed. With rope we set the Path and carried the pods and feet to their resting places. After tieing the pods to their cement anchors the job was done and the fun dive began.

The advanced group stayed on land and continued work on the.catchment. By the end of the afternoon the waterproofing of the walls was finished! The next stage begins tomorrow!

In the afternoon the advanced group went off to find the secret reef and they succeeded! The anemone fields were stunning. All sorts of fish swam in huge schools in front of the volunteers.

Tomorrow is our final day on the island and we are going to make it count!
