Today was pretty similar to yesterday. Our open water divers spent all morning studying and writing their final exam, while the advanced divers practiced their navigation in water. In the afternoon, the two groups switched, and we had the advanced team work on burning the over flowing trash at the incinerator. This past Monday was World Ocean Day, so they entire village was encouraged to clean up the trash around their homes. They did so great cleaning up, that the trash depot was totally filled up! We spent a few hours slowly burning away at the rubbish, and raking the ground to create a path way again.
Once the open water came back from the afternoon dive, we all ate dinner together, played card games and charades, and finally went to bed. It was a long tiring day, but fortunately for the open water divers – the last of reading and studying! Yay!
