Today was a very sad day as everyone said goodbye. We had a few volunteers take a bus to Siem Reap, others went to the airport in Phnom Penh to fly home, and ONE DECIDED TO STAY! Cambodia has a way of hooking people. These past two weeks have been absolutely incredible. The island has found a way to capture all of our hearts and hopefully each one of the volunteers will find their way back to it one of these days.
We had four new arrivals today for the next program: Savannah, Olivia, Carolyn, and Joanna. Tomorrow the rest of the new volunteers will join us and soon we’ll all make the great trek to the island. I’m very excited for another program full of memories, stories, great friends, and hard work in Cambodia!
I want to say thank you to all those parents and friends who have followed the blogs (and especially those that commented along the way!). I hope you have enjoyed reading the blog as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you.
If you would like to continue to support the projects that Reach Out Volunteers runs, we would greatly appreciate any contribution to the Reach Out Volunteers Charity. 100% of all donations go to on-ground projects to continue to support these communities when volunteers aren’t around.

Thank you so much for your support and you will be seeing your loved ones soon, no doubt you’ll be hearing all their stories too!
Farewell for now!
