Hello all my lovely blog readers,
Today was a cool wind day with lots clouds in the sky. After we had breakfast at the hotel and then we took tuk tuk to school. Everyone tried very hard to do their jobs. We had different works in the morning. One group was doing roof and other was doing wall. It was very scare at the first on the roof because we stand on a few pieces of woods on the roof top. But the local builders told us how to do and showed us every thing was going well. Everyone did really well, yeah! After we had a lunch break we went back to our build and did the same things in the morning. We did the roof yeah!! and we almost finish with small walls. And then we went back to school to play with kids. It was so much fun with kids for bubbles. The kids really like this. After that we had back to the hotel and ready for dinner. We went to a pizza place for dinner today. It was so good. We have to bed now because we have to ready for tomorrow done. We must to finish by tomorrow.

Rice for breakfast…again. We’ll all learn to love rice, eventually.
Today was a much better day in terms of teaching. The topic today was actions and movements which was great because it meant we got to take the kids out of the classrooms to do some activities. I’ve discovered trying to get kids to stand in a circle is a lot harder than it looks! We had a girls v boys football, and the boys insisted on being Portugal whilst I told the girls they were England. We drew 1-1! After more teaching later, which itself has individual challenges for us teachers, I sang the music man song to my kids which they love! They particularly love doing the trumpet action. Us teachers taught them how to play what time is it, Mr Wolf? which they went crazy over, and some of the others brought bubbles which the kids loved also.
After a knackering day, we all pretty much had western food for dinner; I had a burger which was much needed. I think we’ve all finally acclimatized to the heat too….it’s only taken 2 weeks!
