Today was our last day in Siem Reap before we all head out to the elephant sanctuary! The group decided that they would like to spend their last day at the Kulen Mountain waterfall (good choice)! This is a magnificent waterfall. When you see it in person, it’s absolutely stunning; the vines having from the trees over the cliffs, the water, and of course the energy of the locals is always a bonus anywhere we go! We ended up having a splashing fight with some locals that were in the water too! We also got to visit a Buddha statue that was carved into the top of a mountain in the area! In the evening we had dinner and luckily for us, there was a puppet happening in the city at the same time, and little did we know, it was starting directly outside the restaurant we were eating at. We had front row seats from our tables to watch the parade go by!
Everyone is getting ready for the elephants tomorrow, so please follow us in the elephant portion of the blog!
