The Volunteers have all earned this reward day!
We took them to Ankor Wat for this majestic and beautiful sunrise (Although the 430 am get up was tough). Then visited two other prominent temples, Ankor Thom and Ta Prohm. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the temples and gave us a good background on their origins and significance.
Then from midday they had free time where volunteers retreated to their bed or to the pool.
At 6:00 pm we went to a Cambodian carnival. There we all got onto dodgem cars and tried out various other games you might expect from these sort of events but it was really great fun.
Everyone did go to bed ready for the final day out at the school tomorrow.
The very early rise to see the sun rise
It was totally worth it!
