Waterfall preparation.

Today was a free for the volunteers and most of them opted to join me out at one of Cambodia’s most sacred sites. Phnom Kolin! There is a temple at the top of the mountain which has a huge Buddha and was an amazingly glimpse into the spirituality of the Cambodians.

Then we went down to the waterfalls. It was breathtakingly beautiful, the sort of thing you see in national geographic but don’t expect to see in real life. We had a refreshing swim, all the while having our feet nibbled on by tiny fish that inhabit the small lake.

There was an awesome lunch delivered to us in a Bungalow.

We got back to say farewell to our three village immersion volunteers and welcomed nine new volunteers that will be joining us on the elephant refuge.
