Our projects are designed and led by local communities. We support them with funds, labor and tools. We make a real impact on the health, well-being and education of children and families and we create employment opportunities in remote villages.
Reach Out Volunteers Charity has helped build soup kitchens in poverty stricken areas in South Africa to provide a free meal, education and a safe environment for vulnerable children.
In Cambodia we are building the ROV Community School that provides free education to children living in rural communities. We have helped build water-catchments providing a source of fresh water and have helped build houses for homeless families. We are fighting against lung-cancer, malnutrition and pneumonia that are impacting families living high in the Andes Mountains of Peru, by building smoke-ventilated kitchens and sustainable greenhouses to grow nutritious vegetables year round.
