In Africa the women work the fields and the children are left under nearby trees until the work day ends. We build creches with kitchens to shelter and feed them. We pay for the food and for its preparation each day. The mothers know their children are safe, dry and warmly feed while they are working.
In South Africa the government provides education to children attending high-school. However for families of young children there is little or no support. Parents have to work long hours in these countries to make ends meet, and are often forced to leave their young children at home with little or no supervision, food or support. Other children have lost their parents to disease and live at crèches and orphanages in areas that receive no funding from the government.
Reach Out Volunteers Charity assists by working with these communities to build classrooms, soup kitchens, shelter, and hygiene stations. Reach Out Volunteers Charity has worked in three different communities, and helped over 250 children. Reach Out Volunteers Charity is overseeing many of the soup kitchens that have been built and supplies food to these children on a daily basis.
Whether it is building or preparing food, ROV is there with the villagers providing support.
