Overview

This is an incredible adventure as you journey to Machu Picchu and are mesmerized by this mysterious and ethereal place.

Hidden amongst the high Andes are remote villages where you will work alongside village families to build greenhouses. These extend the short growing season to increase the food supply to families with children that often suffer from malnutrition. You can spend one night living with the family for whom you are building the greenhouse.

You will be totally immersed in the local culture as you wander the lanes of Cusco, and practice your salsa dancing! You will take a mountain bike tour of the Sacred Valley and visit the ‘Moray Ruins’, unknown to most tourists and trek to the Peruvian salt mines, the ‘Salineras’ of the Sacred Valley.
